A little Aubrey/Maturin, becuase the world needs lots of Aubrey/Maturin ;) Lyrics from October Project's "Deep As You Go" and bases for frames 1 and 3 by lily_baggins.

cruisedirector and I have completed the first chunk of an Aubrey/Maturin story, called "Admiration" to perfect_duet.
Basic run-down, warnings, etc --
Okay, based on the comments from this morning, we are subjecting you all to highly imperfect, unpolished fic! We loved the movie during multiple viewings, but haven't read much of the books. We are very open to correction, though we don't swear to bring everything in line with book canon in places where it contradicts movie canon. Thanks!

The Aubrey/Maturin love is really quite overwhelming -- at least in movie!verse. Ultimately, I've come to conclusion that it is quite all right to stick to a movie's corner of fandom, though nothing will ever compare to an original book!
