I can has new laptop.

It's an Asus with a lovely silver casing. I will miss my purple Dell Studios, but they were both very temperamental and cranky. I was wrong in naming them Mohinder, clearly. But my new silver one I shall call Belgarath! And seeing as Belgarath is the Eternal Man, perhaps this will be a Good Thing (tm).

I am still setting everything up. Very time consuming.

Anybody have any ideas why I can no longer find a Canadian or British English dictionary add-on for Firefox?

I named my laptop Hana for Hana on Heroes. It seems to be working thus far.

See, now, that? That is probably a really, really good idea. How old's the laptop?

About two and a half now? So not really that old in the grand scheme of things, I guess.

But I also named my desktop computer Chloe (after Chloe in 24, and that one is about 5 years old, so I think there's something to the "female tech guru" naming system for me. Which means I'll have to find more fictional female tech gurus when it comes time for me to upgrade. (Read: when I can afford to upgrade.)

I swear by ASUS, and I hope yours serves you well. I'm not sure why you're having trouble finding the add-on, though, because I think I'm still running it, and it's still out there. Hmm. *rummages* Here's the Canadian one.

THANK YOU! It was so bizarre, because it's still working just fine on the previous laptop. So what the hell.

I hope hope hope this laptop works out. I'm a little displeased because the monitor isn't as big, but honestly I think I will get over it until I can get a desktop somewhere down the road.
