HOUSE OMG YAY

Wow, they just jumped right into the whole episode. And it was so... trippy. I kept going "No, this isn't real. No, it is. No, wait, he snuck out for Mexican food."
So ultimately what we've got is a very, very interesting insight into House's mind. Because we essentially see how he views everyone, from Wilson (who in his mind, sounds so very much like, well, House) and that it seems he does respect the ducklings. I mean, he gives figment!Cameron what might the closest we'd ever get to a proud smile. End of last season, we get the backstory -- we get to know what happened to him. Now I think we know a little more about the way he works.
Tangent: wow this episode got so terribly icky-gross. I kept covering my eyes!
Also: Elias Koteas. He's just frelling awesome. I love him just... talking. He said some terribly, terribly awesome stuff.
A few more random notes:
-- I was trying so hard to pay attention to Cameron and House talking about the patient after House 'woke up', but the raspy, throaty voice got me all distracted
-- "I figured something would go wrong." So did we! And it did. And EWWW *sobs*
-- They handcuffed House, too. Tee hee. Oh, god, I'm trying not to get plot bunnies about Cuddy and House and chains and beds. I'm also trying to beat off Cuddy/House/Wilson smutbunnies.
-- *sobbing* Oh god, no, not something essploding.
-- Hee hee, everyone doing his physio for him. ;)
-- The stairs thing. That was freaking adorable.
-- Machine = scary as fuck. Whole scene? Oh, House, you PERV.
-- "You anti-semantic bastard." ♥
-- "Did you really think your life's purpose was to sacrifice yourself and get nothing in return?" "You're miserable for nothing. I don't know why you'd want to live."
-- "I'm sorry" --> possibly the two single most perfect and perfectly-delivered words in EVAR.
I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that, while I'm sitting there going, ok, this whole thing must be in his head. He must have only just been shot, or he's still unconscious, or something. But at the end, my heart was beating SO FAST because 1) ewwwww *wails* and 2) no, no, don't tell me this was real, this was not real, this was -- HOLY CRAP I LOVE THIS SHOW.
*points* New House icon! Oh, Hugh Laurie, you sexy bitch.
