LotR as fandom as LotR...

caras_galadhon, in which I mentioned having a discussion with deerdancer. In said discussion, she called Boromir a whore. It was decided that if the Uruk-Hai hadn't got him, the syphillis would have. So telling Galadriel this, led to:
Galadriel: But that'd be pretty cool. ^_^ An AU in which Boromir lives and the favoured son of Gondor runs around, sleeping with anything, and eventually ends up keeling over as Steward, disease ridden but very well-used. *snickersnort*
Ashinae: HERE LIES BOROMIR
ALONE, FOR ONCE
Galadriel: Bwahahahhaahh!
Galadriel: ...Unless you write necro fic. *cough*
Ashinae: Aragorn: *puts away his quill and parchment* WHAT.
( And that led to this long, silly, conversation in which the major players of Lord of the Rings become the major players of the Lord of the Rings fandom. Not replacing the actual RL/online major players of the Lord of the Rings fandom, mind. Aragorn is not [insert BNF here], and no matter how hard I might try, I am certainly not an Elf or a Shieldmaiden of Rohan or even a Hobbit. *g* )
