01. Nightwish - Ghost Love Score
Bring me home or leave me be
My love in the dark heart of the night
I have lost the path before me
The one behind will lead me
02. Dead Can Dance - Summoning of the Muse
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
03. Siouxsie and the Banshees - Overground
Got to give up life in this netherworld
got to (gonna) go up to where the air is stale
and live a life of pleasantries
(and) mingle in the modern families
04. Philip Glass - Koyaanisqatsi (Russell's Theme)
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
05. Dead Can Dance - Sanvean (Paul's Theme)
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
06. Loreena McKennitt - The Mystic's Dream
And so it's there my homage's due
Clutched by the still of the night
Now I feel you move
And every breath is full
So it's there my homage's due
Clutched by the still of the night
Even the distance feels so near
All for the love of you
07. Iron and Wine - Evening on the Ground (Lilith's song)
I will collect a million years
And you can
Blame me
Blame me, i will wear it
In the empty hollow part of my garden
08. Hans Zimmer - Duduk of the North
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
09. Over the Rhine - The World Can Wait
if this should end tomorrow
all our best laid plans
and all our typical fears
am I running out of lifetimes
this is not the first time
something ends in just tears
10. Enigma - Gravity of Love*
Here's the mirror, behind there is a screen
On both ways you can get in
Don't think twice before you listen to your heart
Follow the trace for a new start
11. Annie Lennox - Love Song For a Vampire
Let me be the only one
To keep you from the cold.
Now the floor of heav'n is laid,
Its stars of brightest glow.
They shine for you.
They shine for you.
They burn for all to see.
Come into these arms again
And set this spirit free.
12. Dead Can Dance - The Host of the Seraphim
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
13. Mike Oldfield - Inner Child
[ instrumental/no English-language lyrics ]
*Triva: The lyrics "O Fortuna velut Luna" (O Fortune like the Moon) are from the opera Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. The title "Obumbrata et Velata" (shadowed and veiled) is from the same source.

Date: 2005-12-27 10:22 pm (UTC)You know, I was going to write you about how hooked I am to this story which is absolutely true, this is very good, the world you have created, the rhythm, the pace, the character development, until I listened to your tracks, specifically this one: Loreena McKennitt - The Mystic's Dream.
Did you know how many years/I> I have been looking for this song??. I am dancing right now, in a very, very metaphorically speaking way, don’t worry :)
You music is beautiful, so very beautiful, I am firmly hooked right now and is all your fault! :) and If you would be so kind as to share some more of this wonderful music with us, or point me to some place (namely a torrent) where I can find this music I would be eternally grateful. Without any kind of dancing of my part of course.
Thank you for sharing.

Date: 2005-12-28 12:51 am (UTC)Will you obkect to me adding (for myself) at least "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi", since you mentioned the Carmina Burana itself? Btw, the complete Carmina lends itself to this great story.:D
