Okay, people, really. It helps to listen when you make phone calls. When I pick up the phone at work, and do my spiel, and clearly state the name of the company I work for, do not start talking about the carpet I showed you last week! Do not sound offended when I, very gently, explain to you that you've got the wrong company entirely.

Also, listen to answering machine messages. You sound like a boob going "Hello? Hello? HELLO? HELLO!!!1omgwtf" into my machine.

Please, society. Stop being selectively deaf. It makes Rufus sigh and pout. *points at icon*

I always like the messages left of my home voicemail where the called has a wrong number and *obviously* did not listen to my recording.

Me: "This is Brion. I'm not in or I'm screening calls. Please leave your name, number and a short message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can."

Message: "Hey Julio! You didn't call me back! Call me, man!"
