One of the beautiful things about JKR's world is how everything is from Harry's point of view, leaving so much room to play with the characters beyond his immediate circle (basically, Hermione and Ron *g*). Lucius has become a rather interesting entity in the world that cruisedirector and I are building around Snape -- he does not have any sense of morality. He's not a nice man at all. But he means every word that comes out of his mouth. Every single word. He's brutally honest about everything -- and everything he says, he says because it can work for him.
