1. How are you stereotypically female?
I like purses and jewellery and cutsey things like Winnie the Pooh.

2. How are you stereotypically male?
My geekiness? Tolkien, Star Wars, Babylon 5, TNG, computers, video games.

3. What parts of you do you consider unclassifiable as either gender?
My love of reading and music.

4. Do you think you are primarily male, female, or neither in characteristics?
I imagine I probably lean a bit more to the female side of things.

5. If you could be born as any gender, knowing the gender prejudices as they are now, which would you choose to be?
Sometimes I get really frustrated with things like bras and menstrual cycles and worries about things like walking home in the dark, but ultimately I think I'd still prefer to be a girl.

What are your five favourite canonical romances?
1. John Sheridan/Delenn (Bablyon 5). Hands-down #1 favourite.

sara_elf got me watching B5 because of Marcus Cole; it was Sheridan/Delenn that sold me. I adore them both as characters -- their strength, integrity, light humour, leadership. But when they're together, they're unstoppable. And since we only had a glimpse of that one year of their married life, there wasn't enough time for the couple to get really boring. And they're together till the very end and *sniff*.

2. Aeryn Sun/John Crichton (Farscape). First and foremost: they are bloody HOT together. Hot hot hot. Nobody else could ever look as good in leather as these two. Also the fact that they spend more time apart than really together keeps things interesting. She makes him intense and passionate; he makes her, well, human.

3. Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal Doran (Stargate SG-1). Why hello thar Claudia Black! I can't help it, she's hot. Anyway, an e-mail I received from

sara_elf as she works her way through the latter seasons of SG-1 sums it up best, I think: I love Daniel with Vala, he is so much more human. *G* I also absolutely adore his squidgy face, the one he makes when Vala is teasing him.

4. Zoe/Wash (Firefly). "The legs! Oh yeah, definitely have to say it was her legs. You can put that down. Her legs, and right where her legs meet her back. Actually, that whole area. That, and above it. Have you seen what she wears? Forget about it. Have you ever been with a warrior woman?"

5. Han/Leia (Star Wars Trilogy). "I love you." "I know." ♥
