A movie meme, gacked from
melina123.
1. Name a movie that you have seen more than 10 times.
The Emperor's New Groove.
2. Name a movie that you've seen multiple times in the theater.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
3. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to see a movie.
Just one? Today, let's say Angelina Jolie.
4. Name an actor that would make you less likely to see a movie.
Ashton Kutcher.
5. Name a movie that you can and do quote from.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
6. Name a movie musical that you know all of the lyrics to all of the songs.
There isn't actually a single one where I know them all off by heart; in fact, I don't know a single song by memory. However, I can very easily sing along with, say, Moulin Rouge.
7. Name a movie that have been known to sing along with.
Moulin Rouge. *G*
8. Name a movie that you would recommend everyone see.
Memento.
9. Name a movie that you own.
I own a couple hundred, man.
10. Name an actor that launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops.
David Bowie?
11. Have you ever seen a movie in a drive-in? If so, what?
Oh,
sara_elf and I used to go to the drive-in a lot. I remember there being True Lies and Apollo 13 and... others.
13. Name a movie that you keep meaning to see but just haven't yet gotten around to it.
Ah, dear. Today, I will say Lost in Translation.
14. Ever walked out of a movie?
No, though I see very, very few movies in the theatre. There have been a few I wish I'd just turned off and walked away, but I do always stick through to the end.
15. Name a movie that made you cry in the theater.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. [insert apologetic look to
deerdancer here]
16. Popcorn?
Occasionally.
17. How often do go to the movies (as opposed to renting them or watching them at home)?
It just depends on what's playing. Sometimes I'll go once a month, sometimes it'll be several months before I go again. I saw Happy Feet, and I can't remember what I saw before that.
18. What's the last movie you saw in the theater?
Happy Feet.
19. What's your favorite/preferred genre of movie?
As far as going to the theatre is concerned, they're generally big movies with big cinematography and special effects. Otherwise, I like sci-fi, fantasy, drama, Shakespeare-related movies, historical stuff, family movies...
20. What's the first movie you remember seeing in the theater?
A Disney movie. I've no idea which it was, though.
21. What movie do you wish you had never seen?
Eye of the Beholder. Oh, Ewan, WHY.
22. What is the weirdest movie you enjoyed?
Well, I don't like to think of any of the movies I like as "weird". Though I will say that the fact that I like 13 Going On 30 surprises the heck out of me.
23. What is the scariest movie you've seen?
I don't like scary movies! So I'll have to say Return of the King. Cuz, y'know, major arachnophobe here.
24. What is the funniest movie you've seen?
This is hard for me, because generally I don't like comedy. I'm not a fan of a lot of what gets put out as being "funny", particularly by Hollywood. But I adore Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Emperor's New Groove, The Princess Bride, The Impostors, Mystery Alaska, A Knight's Tale, Galaxy Quest, and some others.
*cough* ETA fixeded my html. *facepalm*
