You know a show is good when you watch it (twice) after getting home from work, and you have to be up at 7:30am the next day to get ready to go back to work and-and-and the show gets you so worked up you can't sleep.


♥♥♥ Hiro ♥♥♥

Yea verily, Hiro Nakamura is my new imaginary boyfriend (hey, Faramir was my first imaginary boyfriend. This says muchly about me). The scene in the diner with Ando -- oh, it made me have to give a little squeal behind my hands. And and and then he goes and talks to Nathan (who's, holy crap, really hot) and "Aren't we lucky?" But then with the Hiro turning into a Petrelli Fanboy. "Vote Petrelli!" So. Much. Love.

Ando was really kind of adorable in this episode, when he went to see Niki -- and I am really, really starting to like her. She was just so sweet with him.

Micah's the cutest little thing ever.

I really liked the scenes between Peter and Isaac. Isaac being all sullen and withdrawn and "dude, whatever" and then when Peter uses his power (YAY!) and then Isaac's "We have to save her." WELL DUH GUY.

Oh Claire. I also am becoming quite fond of her. Because she went to jerkface Brody and apologised to him. I'm also starting to really, really think all this stuff with Mr Bennet and The Mysterious Man was all a red herring. He was so fiercely protective of Claire -- just like any dad really should be -- that I'm now having a hard time believing that he would put her in any harm. Things may look sketchy, but I think the powers that be behind the show just put it together to look sketchy.

Did I mention the part with Nathan being really hot? He was running around in his pj's. And his hair was mussed. And he and Niki are hot together.

And oh oh oh MATT! He's just the sweetest most adorable woobie ever. And y'know, I knew he'd start having problems going out in public with his telepathy because, hi, I watched Babylon 5. And whilst The Corps Is Mother, The Corps Is Father I learned that, yeah, dude, things like Psi Corps are inherently bad ideas, you can't just let untrained telepaths wander around because it'd drive them completely mad. Somebody needs to train him to block it all out and be able to use it when he wants to and all that. Oh MATT!

What else.

Oh, right. Yeah, Mohinder. Only in the teaser. No fun. :( I want my pretty Mohinder. And then I'm gonna smack him, and then fix him up all nice and pretty and then probably smack him again but then everything will be ok. Because he's going to come to his senses and then be "Oh! I have to help these people and guide them and be pretty and probably have steamy threesomes with Isaac and Peter YAY!"

I love this show. And, wow, this may in fact be only the second ever ensemble-like show where I really enjoy all the characters.

Well -- we're still not 100% on the up-and-up with Mr Bennet, and we haven't been introduced to D.L. yet, but I'm sure everybody knows what I mean.


Crap, I need to try to go to sleeeeeep. I'm still all wired!

It's really interesting trying to follow a show when you only see the last five minutes of it every week (blame Studio 60). All I know is that Hiro comes back from the future, gives Peter a message, and this week Peter finally answers the phone to give it to now!Hiro. What else is going on? ;)

Oh man. *goes a little crosseyed* There's just so much going on. Maybe I'll try to post a character-by-character breakdown of what's happened thus far.

Please! I want to watch, but I tried and went crosseyed from all the characters and someone was talking about the little symbols that kept popping up and I went "oh, god, not another Lost" but apparently it's the best thing evar, so, uh...yeah. Help?

So what is Peter's power? I'm still confused.

Was that D.L. in Niki's place? Or Hench Dude? I didn't get a good enough glimpse.

Oh! Oh, yes, that was the line. The "Oh, waffles." I, too, squeaked in an unseemly sort of way. Hiro/Waffles, OTP! And -- well -- I SUPPOSE I can share him. A little. ;)

Peter is like a mimic. He can actually use other peoples' powers when he's around them. So just imagine if he was in the same room with Niki and Claire and a bunch of bad guys... *G*

And it was definitely D.L.; I recognise him because the actor had a re-curring role on Buffy. So when people were all "Hench Dude is Niki's husband!" I kept wanting to scream NO HE'S NOT because they haven't been shy about listing the actor set to play D.L. Rar. :)

Gotcha. I figured Peter was sort of like Rogue, but without the touching and draining.

I want pretty Mohinder to have a power, aside from being a pretty professor, because "pretty" and "professor" usually don't happen in the same package.

So do you think Daddy Petrelli actually killed himself, or was he taken out to prevent Nathan and Peter from learning something?
