ashinaeI've taken, in recent months, to calling Jay 'n me "The Wordy Bitches". Cuz we are.
Posted below the cut is a teaser of the opening for a Heroes/Firefly alternate reality (that's been crossposted to Jay's journal, and our JF accounts) that we've been working on since summertime. It's the Heroes characters (of season 1, so far) in the Firefly 'verse. The focus is on the Petrellis (we won't claim not to be completely and utterly biased); we've got our characters slotted into mostly the main cast roles, and then into supporting roles rather of our own design. Firefly supporting characters show up in their own roles, generally.
We borrow from canon from both series; we've ripped apart and glued up canonical and fanonical Heroes 'ships to suit our own designs. This ain't either of your momma's shows. It's our own... thing.
And damn, are we wordy bitches about it. (But don't worry, this teaser is less than 1000 words long.)
