(no subject)

My computer has been acting wonky of late; more errors than usual, and has twice in the past ten days or so, reset itself for no readily apparent reason. I backed up everything on some throwaway cheap 650MB discs, just in case, and am now properly sorting through things to get it all together, throw away any duplicate pictures, etc.

Yesterday, it was anything Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, or Xena-related. This afternoon, I've been working on Master and Commander. I've noticed something, in going through my (omgazillion) Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany pictures:

Paul gets to wear these spiffy suits and look all I am SUAVE, fuck me now! and Russell wears flannel and tank tops and looks all RROWRLL I am WILD MAN, fuck me now!

That is my nugget of wisdom for the day. Take it and do with it what you will.

In other news, the daily_snitch has, just today, linked to slither_in, the Lucius/Snape comm I had suggested to cruisedirector and, being the bad influence that she is (heh), we mod together. I find this amusing -- the comm celebrated its one year anniversary (very quietly, though) last month.

I have Star Wars and Due South season 3 box sets. These both somehow manage to make me happy and vaguely irritated at the same time. Oh, joy to fandom!
