Mar. 28th, 2004 08:55 pmThank you very much to everybody who had sweet birthday wishes! I hope I didn't miss thanking anybody directly -- if I did, I am very sorry! Jo spent the night and we were up until 6:20 and then got up again at noon. Ahh, good times, good times.
I made four new DVD acquisitions over the weekend -- Schindler's List from my parents, and then wonderfully low-priced (used! yay for used!) copies of A Life Less Ordinary, Down With Love and Far From Heaven. Am happy. This should take my total up to about 190 DVDs. Yup.
The lovely Jo gave me a couple very lovely gifts as well, of course. The first, this lovely, leather-bound diary. Swoon! And then, the two froggies on the right -- Frodo and Sam. She bought Merry and Pippin for me a few years ago, and, well, they were still a little incomplete on their own.

sara_elf is, that would make my birthday complete! Of course, she did send me an e-mail, but an e-mail is never quite the same as being able to talk to someone!
