My little Sim!Mal is the cutest thing ever. I didn't play with the Tam Family today; there are four of them, and then only Mal and his mum, and I need to sort of get used to having a handle on the game, y'know? I've got Mal at school, and his mum working, and it's all very exciting and hard to keep track of.

More pictures this time around, but they're smaller, yet higher quality.

A typical morning in the kitchen. Mal has atrocious table manners.

But then, he comes by it honestly. He doesn't seem to like having cereal flying at his face, but I can't say as I blame him.

Mal skipped his first day of school, the brat. And Katie had not yet found a job. So when three Sims came by to meet them, they went out to greet 'em.

Shock! Mal meets Mr Gabriel Tam.

And notes that Mr Tam lives in that fancy-schmancy house on the other side of town.

Mr Tam isn't too impressed by young bungalow-dwelling Mal Reynolds. The snobbery!

Mal tries to strike up a conversation about violins, as those seem to be snobby-people instruments...

... but Mr Tam doesn't want to hear it...

... and flat-out tells young Mal that he wants nothing to do with his common-folk violins!

Mal just thinks the snobbery's funny, which annoys the hell out of Mr Tam.

And then he proceeds to make fun of the Tam residence.

A lot. This annoys Mr Tam...

... and since it's not right to beat up on poor folk, he just walks away.

Mal ventures inside, where he proceeds to talk to a girl in a pink dress, about how they'd all surely have peace if the Alliance didn't meddle so much! It seems the girl in the pink dress approves.

Later, we find Katie finding her son and wondering wtf he's doing.

Oh, apparently he's dancing with the guy in the grey shirt. So she joins him.

Apparently, Mr Tam didn't get far. He had to turn around and sneak into the Reynolds Bungalow for a pit stop. But he thinks about Mal on the way out. Hmm.

Katie apparently didn't feel generous enough to make dinner for both of them, so here's Mal cooking himself some mac & cheese.

And here's another shot of Mal cooking, because I think he's an adorable little Sim.

The next day, Katie unwinds by jumping on the couch. Mal unwinds by ignoring both his homework, and his mother.

That's Mal's bedroom in the background there. I find it a lot easier to play without the walls up, especially in this tiny house. Please notice the teddy bear.

When Mal's new friend Ricky comes out of the loo, Katie quickly sits and waves, pretending she wasn't jumping on the couch.

Mal and Ricky dance. Awwww.

Ricky left a while later; Katie and Mal had dinner (which Katie made for both of them, this time), and then Mal got really, really mad at me when I made him do his homework.

As they slept, I peeked through their stuff and noticed that Mal had Ricky listed as a crush! How utterly adorable!

And so the next evening, Mal invited Ricky over...

♥ Awwwwww. Lookit! :D No, not at the new couch and TV that Katie bought. Mal and Ricky are snuggling! How utterly adorable.

As soon as I figure out how to play multiple families at once, those two are so going to be broken up once I can manage to get Mal together with another Firefly Sim. Does that make me evil?
