Heh. Actually, I can't really see the slash there, as in Star Wars, I am actually a hardcore het shipper. I like Han and Leia much more than I like Luke. And of course, I do adore Chewie, to absolute bits, but he's rather an asexual sort of character for me -- I did, in fact, give up entirely on the EU with Vector Prime, and will never, ever, ever, ever read anything that RA Salvatore writes again. Ever. The bastard killed Chewie, for fuck's sake! It still makes me mad.
Han Solo was one of my first-ever crushes (as was Princess Leia). Chewie, on the other hand, was the closest I ever had to an imaginary friend: I have always had a lot of trouble with the dark, and nightmares, and such. I would pretend that Chewie was sitting at the end of the bed, when I was little, and that he would bravely defend me against any terrible monsters or nightmares. :)
