Vids & sketches & dreams

ashinaeFirst -- I'm going to work to get ALL (*cough* yes, all *cough*) my vids fixed up through my journal; sometimes just fixing up the original post made, other times will be making a new post at all, etc. Just as a sort of back-up archively kind of thing. They'll all be able to be accessed properly through the memories, though some may be friends-only.
Second -- an unfinished Firefly vid. Set to "Trouble" by Pink, it was going to be all about Jayne. But I honestly have not seen the show often enough. Those first 26 seconds took a dreadfully long time to put together because I really didn't know the show well enough to know where the good clips are, and searching through fourteen episodes like that... blargh! It will have to wait for another day down the road. But anyway, that link takes you to YouSendIt. The file is 7mb, and it's encoded as a DivX avi file. Enjoy.

sara_elf has a black and white pencil sketch of Sirius Black here. I can proudly say it's not Photoshopped, because I'm the only one between the two of us who knows how to use Photoshop! ;) And a darling picture of her puppy here.
And last night, I had a very silly dream.
I had been kidnapped by Uruk-hai who were holding me hostage on the back of a waggon. They tried tying my hands, but the ropes kept falling off...
"You guys are some pretty ineffectual kidnappers, huh?" I say, and they look ashamed of themselves.
"Look," I say, "I'll tie the ropes myself!" And so I do. But I do it in a way that they look tight, but I can actually get my hands out.
And so things go along, and Gandalf (the White) shows up out of nowhere. They can't see him, but I can. "Got yourself kidnapped, huh?" he says.
"Yeeah," I say. "You're not dead, huh?"
"Yeeah," he says.
"Like the new robes," says I.
"Yeeah, they're pretty spiffin'. So let's see about getting you un-kidnapped."
"You do what you gotta do, man," I say.
And so he goes up to the front of the Uruk-hai column, rips off his robes... and he's TIM CURRY FROM RHPS.
AND HE STARTS SINGING SWEET TRANSVESTITE.
Then I woke up.
