1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
I have the same middle name as my mum, but my first name was random. It does, however, start with the same letter as my dad's.

2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
O_O

3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
Jeffrey Michael.

4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I like the name "Gwen". Basically, it'd come from the same place, as such, as my actual name, but it's a little less common.

5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
It's the last name. It's only 5 letters long, but there have been oh so many mispronunciations.

1. Do you smoke?
No. My parents have smoked enough around in my lifetime to ruin my health until they started smoking outside when I was 16, and it took several years for me to start being healthy. Ick ick.

2. Are you more likely to be caught humming, whistling or singing to yourself?
Singing to myself. *facepalm*

3. Have you ever been to New Orleans?
I've never even left the country.

4. When is the last time you saw the sun rise?
When I was still going to college. Sunrise makes me bitter.

5. Can you swim?
Not so much. Give me a floation device like one of those "noodle" things, stick it under my boobs, and I can imitate a frog across a pool pretty well, but I sure as hell won't go into water where I can't stand comfortably. The problem is is that I have a terrifying fear of putting my head in the water. People can't breathe underwater, and I'm positive that my mild claustrophobia and childhood asthma, complete with episodes of not being able to breathe, has something to do with my lack of desire in learning how to swim. *scratches chin*

What (shouldn't that be "who"?) are your five favorite villains (and why)?

I'm always so bad with the "why" part, but here goes, in no particular order.

Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII). Because, like so many villains, he didn't start off bad. He was manipulated and used (by his own father no less) and it drove him mad. Doesn't hurt that, for a bunch of pixels, he's really frelling hot.

Commodus (Gladiator). Cuz he's just... so messed up. Methinks I like the crazies, the ones with issues. Yes. Also, his smouldering chemistry with Maximus just makes it all perfect.

Darth Vader (Star Wars: Episodes IV-VI). No, not Anakin Skywalker. Darth fucking Vader. He was terrifying and menacing and cold and all that, but he still had a conscience, somewhere, but still, it took a big big push (the potential death of his son) to get him to use that conscience. Also, he didn't whine.

Scorpius (Farscape). Oh, he is terrifying, too. And so fucked up -- he has a history, he has goals, he is single minded, he is frighteningly intelligent. He's a marvellous villain, and a truly formidable ally... if you're doing what he wants.

The Borg (Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: First Contact). Okay, first, let me preface this by saying that, and I will not explain it, I am a TNG fan, not a Star Trek fan. That said, I think the Borg as a whole are really damn awesome. I know a few people who hated them because they were too scary or whatever, but the Borg episodes, and the Borg movie, always gave me chills. "I am Locutus of Borg" never fails to stir a reaction in me. The Borg Queen was fantastic. And they weren't completely 100% scary and evil -- see, "I, Borg". I love that episode -- one of my absolute favourites.
