Okay, so. Yesterday I posted my big WHAT THE HELL IS THIS TRUE post about Beanie+Heroes (which I initially typed as Heanie+Beroes which means I shoulda gone to bed earlier last night, but there was metaporning and Petrellicest to be written last night and I'm babbling so *ahem*). Anyway,
queenofthorns posted about that again this morning, just recently in fact, and
there's confirmation of the no it's not true sort in comments.
Now; I know from seeing other people posting what I saw, and also in the comments in my own post, that a lot of people were like OMG HAVE TO WATCH NOW. I'd just like to note that I read reports that for this past week,
Heroes got some supremely high ratings, putting the show above a lot of other shows that have aired thus far. Just cuz Beanie ain't on it doesn't mean you shouldn't watch.
Again, I'm going to point back to
queenofthorns who often says stuff about media and entertainment far more eloquently than I (I am, of course, in the category of the "SQUEE DO M0R!" feedback group). She mentioned that, no, of course Heroes isn't perfect. There's stuff wrong with the show. But I say this as someone who was never able to get into Lost, which Heroes is oft-compared to on my flist. I adore the show. I adore the characters. I think it's got the prettiest cast since Firefly going for it. Is the show on the level of Jossverse stuff? No. Is the show on the level of my other favourite show, House? No. But is it entertaining fun? Hell yeah. Unless you count Farscape, which I often didn't even get to catch "live" on TV, I've never been this into a serialised TV show and every week I want more. I want to figure out the mysteries, I try to come up with theories and --

That is Mohinder. Mohinder is pretty. Mohinder has a sexy voice and a lovely accent and terribly slashable. Mmm. Mohinder.
Anyway.
So what I really,
really want to know, is who's going to join
veraxia,
caras_galadhon, and me on our field trip to deliver divine retribution to whoever made up this whole pack of lies? *grin*
