The Fellowship at Pooh Corner
This is something that springs to mind occasionally, that sprang from a silly conversation with a silly person, shortly after the Fellowship EE came out (yes, this is THAT OLD). We were squeeing amongst ourselves over the meet-the-cast sort of segments, particularly anything that had to do with Viggo and Sean Bean, because, well, you know, they're Aragorn and Boromir and all.
So somehow the conversation veered into the direction of me commenting that Viggo is OBVIOUSLY Tigger, what with the pouncing on (or rugby-tackling) Sean Bean.
V-I-double-guh-Oh! That spells VIGGO!
So --
Sean Bean = Winnie-the-Pooh
Viggo Mortensen = Tigger
Therefore --
Orlando Bloom = Piglet
Sean Astin = Kanga
Elijah Wood = Roo
Dominic Monaghan = Rabbit
Billy Boyd = Owl
John Rhys-Davies = Eeyore
Ian McKellen = The Narrator
And, of course --
Peter Jackson = Christopher Robin.

Ooh yes, very much so :) I only very very recently discoverd M&C - a friend of mine told me about it and it sounded so good that I finally gave in and got the DVD, and watched it last Friday. Which I shouldn't have because in about 7 hours I have exams and actually, the thing I wanted to think about most was M&C (or Jack/Stephen). Oh well. As soon as it's over, I can also finally read the book. So, yeah, I'm definitely interested.
