Heroes - 2x09 - Cautionary Tales

So, people are pissed off at Mohinder. Which, y'know, he shot Bennet inna face. Which... well, I saw it coming.

However--am I the only person who LIKES the way that this show is not afraid to have its characters do things that are just--BAD? Sendhil Ramamurthy actually said in an interview which, no, I cannot find, that they were taking Mohinder down a road that people would not expect, and I'm pretty sure he at least said he was thrilled about it. Anyway, yeah--Nathan Petrelli's my favourite character on this show, which just means, yes, I love deeply flawed characters. Characters who fuck the hell up and have to deal with it.

(All anybody would need to do is read some of the characters I've RPG'd over at Establishment and Citadel on JF to know how much I like it when characters just fuck the hell up. *G*)

Also: Matt better watch out. Mohinder is developing a precedent for shooting his boyfriends. *G*

That's all I got. Particularly because, y'know, work and stuff.

You know I'm on board with you, 'cause we talked about it last night, but, um, yes.

Isaac paintings come true. What happens next, well, sometimes that changes. But Peter fell off the building and died when he went to see Claire, just like the painting showed. He'd absorbed Claire's power, so it didn't take, but even still--it happened. We've been seeing the paintings of shot-inna-HRGs Bennet immediately following Mohinder pointing a gun for how many weeks now? We all knew it was coming. What changes is that because they knew what was coming, they had the ability to save him.

Still. Mohinder's gonna be sleeping on the couch for awhile. And Matt might want to start wearing a bullet proof vest.

"My character is the most changed. They really flipped Suresh and did a 180—which I'm really happy about. He's a man of action this season. I think it's really going to shock the audience. It's one of those things where they'll probably be yelling at the TV when they see some of the stuff that Suresh does."
