Heroes season 2 spoilers from Kristin at E!online...


Spoiler Alert! I have it on good authority that both Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) and Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) are back next season. I'm also 99 percent certain Greg Grunberg (Matt) is back, but not so sure about D.L. (Leonard Roberts). I have a sneaking suspicion Linderman's blood or heart may heal him, but that could just be my wishful thinking, for I love Leonard so.

NATHAN. PETER. \o/

Spoiler Alert Part Deux! I'm told next season begins four months into the future, and two of the main characters are in deep despair—one having completely lost his memory (bring on the Bourne Identity storyline!) and the other having developed a major drinking problem. Told ya Sylar wasn't this show's only demon.

HMM. I wouldn't be surprised if it's Peter with the amnesia and Nathan with the drinking problem, but I'd actually love to see it the other way around. THAT would be interesting.

If the two characters mentioned there with the drinking problem/amnesia are in fact Nathan and Peter, that's how I want to see it. Of course, it might not be them at all. Maybe Niki fell off the waggon, and Sylar hit his head down in the sewer. (There aren't alligators in the sewers of New York, there are super-powered serial killers!) Or maybe ... there's so many possibilities.

Yeah, I realise it's pretty vague that "two characters" will be affected as such... *laughs* maybe Claire will get properly teenage emo and be the one with the drinking problem. It's not like it would kill her. :P

But still, amnesiac!Nathan and alcoholic!Peter would be an interesting ally to walk down. Maybe someone could write it. Where does one send plot bunnies to find a home in which to flourish and prosper? 'Cause my rabbit pen is rotten for delivering fic.

And Nathan - I'm still thinking that Nathan might be back but not as Nathan, more as Sylar or Candice acting as him.

And I so need to upload a more moody Heroes icon - lol - both of mine are too happy.

It's not like the show was ever nothing but sunshine and rainbows and puppies, but it really did just start getting very, very dark at the end.
