oh, I *adore* the vid. I keep playing it over and over again. The song has close to perfect lyrics, very right for Boromir and his doubts and insecurities, the rhythm and pacing are ondulating between fast and sustained, the insertion of the Faramir, Denethor and Gondor clips highlights the heavy burden on Boromir's shoulders, his responsibilities towards his family and city...what's there not to love? :)

I have to admit that I was skeptical when I saw the song was by Cher, but, damn, it's just perfect for LotR. And the vid is great. The shot choices are lovely (including the perfect ones of Legolas and Gimli) and the angst level is just right.

Yay! I'm so glad you liked this one! For about a year my friend Jo kept telling me it would be a mistake to make this vid. It's not Araboro so people have obviously not jumped at the opportunity to watch it. *g* But I'm really happy you did.

Sometimes you just have to ignore other people and do what works for you. (My partner thought I was on crack when I told him I was doing a Star Trek vid to Simon & Garfunkel; now, that's his favourite vid.)

And hey, there are other things besides AraBoro. Okay, not as good obviously, but still... ;)

I'm as A/B obsessed as the next woman, but I loved this vid. I'm not a Cber fan, but this worked really well, I though. But my favs are still "Hazy Shade of Winter" (that's *such* a tight vid!) and "Remember Me" (*sob*). OK, I'm Boromir obsessed...
