My poor, neglected journal :(

1) 10 years ago what did you think you would be doing now?
Gosh. 14 years old. Huh. I imagine I was thinking that by this point, I'd be working towards a masters degree in something English-related. Probably working towards being a professor, actually.

2) Where do you think you will be in 5 years from now?
Ugh. Probably where I still am - going nowhere. Just maybe I won't still be living at home.

3) Do you live life one day at a time or look to the future.
One day at a time. The future seems kind of like a black, gaping pit.

4) Do you wish you could go back in time and undo something in your life?
Oh, fuck. I often say you couldn't pay me enough money to go back and repeat high school, but, you know, give me the knowledge that I have now, maybe a fair chunk of cash just because that'd be nice, and stick me back in the summer right before grade 9. And I'd happily re-do high school without the drama, but hopefuly still with my darling deerdancer and of course, the irreplaceable sara_elf.

5) If you could send a message back in time and give a younger version of yourself some advice, what would it be?
"Focus on the schoolwork, forget all the fucking teenage drama. Teenage drama is dumb. No matter what your stupid hormones are telling you, listen to your parents, focus on school, forget everything else except those two very dear friends of yours."
