This one was originally drafted some time last year, actually (though, I do believe almost all of the Lucius/Severus part of the story arc was drafted last year, hmm), but I do distinctly remember how much writing this part actually did hurt, a lot. I'm really glad you liked it, and that you were able to have an actual emotional reaction to it -- not that either of us would have wanted anybody to be genuinely hurt by it!
