Another New!Old vid: Striptease (Lord of the Rings)

Back in July, tzikeh approached me, requesting my vid "Striptease" for the villains show at VividCon. Naturally, I said "of course!" even though I couldn't attend (maybe next year!). Unfortunately, what I had simply could not be shown at the show for whatever technical reasons that I'm sure I would botch up in trying to explain. So, tzikeh guided me to some new software, and melina123 was very patient with my questions, and eventually everything worked out for the best.

"Striptease" was one of the very first vids I ever made. I don't claim that it's any good. I don't claim that the re-edit is very good (in fact, I'm not at all satisfied with it, but I'm frustrated beyond the hope of ever actually fixing it, even a month later). So, yeah, I know it's not perfect, not by a long shot. But przed requested it, so here it is.

Hm. I'd posted it a few months ago when it was finished, and it was up for like two days but nobody watched it so I figured nobody at all was interested, and deleted the post in a hissy fit *G*

Okay. It is nearly 18MB, and can be found here.
Three warnings:
1) It's Coldplay -- if you're allergic, run away!! Run away!!
2) The beginning is ugh. There was a new version, but I'm an idiot and deleted the source files, and have to re-make it from scratch...
3) There are some technical glitches that you'll see, that have creeped into my newest vids with watermarks. You'll see it a lot when the vid cuts between clips -- I have no idea how to fix this.

That said, I REALLY hope you like it. Thought of you a lot whilst making it *G*

Link still didn't work for me. It tries to go to last-dance.commedia/media, but I just took out the "media" after "com" and it seemed to work....

I always love your vids. Now I'll have to organize them into originals and redos =)

I downloaded your Sam/Frodo vid - I liked it - and Coldplay! ;)

It's just my taste runs to Men - and dare we whisper the dreaded word ... Elves... not Poncy-britches, more Haldir, Elrond, Celeborn - I know, I know, not enough footage to make much out of... but I can still nudge for Boromir/Faramir/Aragorn - maybe with the extended edition? And I know 'Ariel' reminds you of the Tempest, but... think 'forgive me for leaving' [boat on the Anduin] 'it is your sorrow that has made a slave of me' [all those longing looks] you're clever - you know the rest!

I'll just be going now before you beat me over the head with a wet fish! ;p

i love that vid. i think that was probably the first vid of yours that i saw and i still love it. i'll have to check out your re-edit, but the main computer is totally screwed up at the moment :(

Oh, I'm glad you liked the S/F vid! deerdancer and I had great fun making it. (Or rather, she quite enjoyed Telling Me What To Do whilst I Did It. ;))

And, yeah, I figure the reason that nobody said anything about the F/S vid because the vast majority of people on my flist are Pervy Men Fanciers. Logically I knew that, but it was still embarrassing to see that post on my journal with no feedback whatsoever. So off it went *blush* in a hissy fit.
