Remember how I have a new puppy? Yeah. Here's some more of her.









I wanted to do something in honour of Boromir yesterday, but I was busy doing this project for school (wmv file, please right-click & save as -- I know it's small, but please, please think of my bandwidth because l-d.com has been wonky of late). There was an original version of this that I handed in on Monday... the instructor didn't like it, refused to mark it, and told me to re-do it for today. I spent all week doing it, and barely slept at all between Wednesday and today. I've been awake for 60 hours. Wheeeee...

I might still put something Boromirish together this weekend amongst all the other little projects I'm thinking about.

On Tuesday in a fit of frustration, I stopped working on my school assignment long enough to make a really bad Paul Bettany wallpaper.

Everybody should have puppies! Well, everybody who wants one, is willing to take care of one, and is deserving of a puppy. Or a kitten, even. *g*

And thank you re: wallpaper. I wish my PSP/Photoshopping skillz were as good as some other people's. We're not being taught in school exactly what I'd like to be able to do -- it's all well and good that I can re-create fire and metal and wood, but photomanipping and whatever talents seem to be required to make really cool wallpapers or icons or banners have been ignored. Am spending a lot of money to not learn how to do stuff that I would like to learn how to do *g*

I hope I get good marks, too, but I'm not holding out hope for that -- the teacher seems very, very unimpressed with me. Was showing a few classmates my Harry Potter "Book of Days" vid (which, I think, it my most impressive vid from a purely technical/editing standpoint), and he kind of looked at it for a moment, asked where I got it, was informed by a classmate that I made it (with a shocking amount of squeeing coming from a GUY), and the teacher just sort of scoffed and walked away.

Hellish, awful, terrible week. No-good even. I have managed to get some sleep, my body desperately wants more... but I'm going to stay up through the Oscars tonight, but come home tomorrow and catch some shut-eye. I only have a couple of labs on Tuesday, instead of classes, so I think I'll stay home then, too. *g* Never worry about me. If anything, I'll start catching up on all the sleep I've lost starting in October once I've graduated. :)
