Remarkably often. It's really annoying.

Today I actually encountered this when I went to return that leather jacket. Except that this time I was behind this dimwitted woman who was chatting away on her phone at the cash register, and making the transaction really difficult for the poor store employee, and made my waiting that much longer. If I wasn't so tired, and so afraid of conflict, I'd have given the woman a piece of my mind. But I was still sleepy, and too terrified.

Oh, I miss my jacket already. :(

I sympathize, but sometimes it is better in the long run to be sensible.

No, the woman totally wasn't worth my nerves. But the on-the-mobile-at-the-checkout is one of those things that makes me want to hit people. There isn't a lot that could drive me to do that, but--grr.

I didn't nap, no. *G* I can only seem to sleep during daytime hours when I'm sick. So this either means it's going to be a very early night for me, or I'll catch a second wind around 9pm and be awake till 2 in the morning. Woe!

I think I actually have a bunny for a vid (Xena), but oh lord. So much work to do to get the footage. *wince*

Oh I will worship you for that one. First day of the new job and someone was on the phone at the cash register being a general annoyance to all of humanity. Thankfully it wasn't my register. :O

Yes I know, as I have tried only once to do a Starsky&Hutch vid many decades ago. But I also know, that the way you are doing vids, your finsihed work will be wonderful.

Well, one day I would certainly like to remaster "Over Seas of Silence" with higher-quality footage, maybe fix up a few parts a little. I've never really stumbled across any other songs that really grab me for M&C, though. :(

As a bookseller and someone who occasionally has to ring at the register, I have to say I just go ahead and talk to the folks and make them stop their chatter to attend to ME, the person handling their money. If I was vindictive, I'd deliberately make a mistake. *g*

You and my son both!! He loathes and despises people who answer their phones half way through giving him an order - he works at a Starbucks type coffee-shop - and what with the noise of the grinders and the steamers so they have to talk loudly into their phones, and because they're shouting it makes it difficult to hear someone next to them ordering... He gets quite pissed off - especially when they don't make eye-contact when they pay and he gives them change. So rude!
