Christmas icons

So here's a little festive GIP/icon post. I've got 10 icons in total here; feel free to snag any you'd like. All I ask is for "by ashinae" to show up in either keywords or the icon comments, and feel free to add any text you'd like -- or, I suppose my arm could be twisted lots to add the text myself. And of course it'd be nice to hear that you like any! :)

Workplace-related question for Canadians/Ontarians

Is it legal to drastically change a schedule once it has been posted? This week's schedule was done on Saturday -- I was scheduled 5 days, for 31 hours. Today I go in to find it's been altered, giving me 27 hours over 5 days (one day also switched entirely for another). My mum's pretty sure that you really can't change a schedule like that without an employee's express permission (I'm also quite glad that I didn't have big plans going on for Thursday!), or unless an employee has requested it after the fact.

Anybody?

I am now officially hoping this place is going to let me go after the Boxing Day sale ends on January 10. I was really supposed to be just seasonal, but the lady who was hired before me has quit. Oh, and this is a good story; she starts in October, gets married shortly before I got hired, goes on her two-week honeymoon, returns at the beginning of last week, calls, says she's not coming back. Now, this is pretty good for me, in that it gives me more hours (until, of course, the manager decides to cut them back after they've been fucking posted). However, here's the kicker: she bought all her bridal jewellery, and all her bridesmaids' jewellery, at the store. For 50% off. Hmmmmm. </cynicism>
